In anticipation of the New Year, we have officially announced KTE’s 2011 environmental initiative, “Plum goes Green.”
Over the course of the next 12 months, Kappa Theta Epsilon will provide resources to educate Members, friends, and the greater community on the benefits of adopting a sustainable lifestyle.
Through multimedia presentations and local forums, the Sorority will provide consumers with tips that make an eco-friendly lifestyle easy to implement and maintain. The organization is also implementing a 90% paperless policy, which will continually lower the carbon footprint of the entire Sorority, and its individual chapters.
A major component of the Initiative is the “PG Challenge,” where the Sorority encourages members and friends to follow the project on Facebook and share their experiences as they Go Green.
If you’d like to join the PG Challenge, add yourself to the Kappa Theta Epsilon Sorority Facebook page. The Challenge kicks off January 1st; we’ll see you there!
